My homeland is not of the world

Unnamed
Life, hold deaths hand in the end
Don't make it twist, or bend
Just hold his hand to comfort him
Oh...so overwhelming is his problem

Alone he is, so terribly alone
Torture is all that he's shown
He throws a rock to hear the echo
But it only screams silence wherever it goes

The bitter silence killed all he knew
Silence came from everything he threw
In the end it's the ultimate cost
Since it was his life he lost

But he didn't care at the time
He didn't care that it was shadows he shined
But now he goes to life with a sigh
As he must now prepare to die.

You described just how I feel at the time being. It made an impression on me.
