My homeland is not of the world

0 posted 2002-03-04 04:12 PM

When love ends

When you sit to wait to die
And you wonder to yourself why
Why did I leave all I cared for
Why did I kick them out my door

Then you stand and look up to the sky
As a single tear falls from your eye
And you fall onto the ground
Begging for someone to be around

But no one's around, not a single friend
All because you caused your love to end
So you close your eyes to cry
As you lower your head to die

Encarta,

Powerful emotions spoken here.  I hope you know that you are never alone, even when it seems like there is no one there, some one cares.  I hope this was a work fiction and you aren't feeling this alone.
With that said, good write   I enjoyed.

Hugs,
Tara

Well written. I think I catch your vibe here.

Thanks.  I'm not feeling that alone. It's just fiction.  It just came to me one day, around christmas time, so I wrote it down.

Sounds familiar, I do relate. Nicely done.

I know the regrets can be very painful when we realize we totally messed up a wonderful opportunity...I believe new opportunities eventually come to us and hopefully we will be ready to take advantage...James
