My homeland is not of the world

When Love Fails

The leaves changed colors in my eyes
Darkness has overcome the sky
Shadows has appeared to remind me
That dust I am, and dust I shall be

Surly this will bring the end
I saw the beginning twist and bend
To my heart, it sent the pain
And, through my eyes, I see the rain

Like bullets to the target, it hit my heart
Cutting right through it, splitting it apart
Now I'm left standing here, to morn
But, deep inside, I still see the storm

Very well written and well expressed.  I could feel your pain.

Loved it,

Wonderful.  I'm like Kisses, I can relate to your feelings.

If we open our arms to another do we not expose ourselfs to both love or the deepest wounds?A person with their arms clenched over their chests can not give a hug.I have wraped my arms around clenched arms and tried to give the warmest hug.Sometimes it helps.
