Conspiracy (part II) .. . . of all trades master of destiny he was white noise in a cacophony of clutter virtually ignored until he himself nicked the earth's face with the keen of his razor touch A knight of the Round Belly oblivion was a destination each night attained wickedly quick by hops in a can reach for a Bud - always there to help you when you need him one night he need Bud more than normal his boss tied Jack's shoelaces too taught and he snapped no one will ever understand his conspiracy complex complicated, convoluted distortion but these were the glasses he chose to see with he came back after closing and spilled the bosses wine he drew the word: Conspiracy in the wine pool by his employer's torso a burnt social security card, driver's license and last year's tax form drinking up the last few sips of life-Chardoney the Establishment erased him in a heartbeat for taking what was not his to take the Media pondered his militia leanings saying a gun unfired is too much temptation the Politicians used his exploits to pass laws that made them heroes no one mourned no one understood that Jack had achieved Purpose he had stopped the Conspiracy of his own making dead in its tracks ~ end ~ |
