Never from its sights will falter
The heartbreak it evokes in those caught by its
Beautiful glistenings are but aggravating specks of
Dust easily washed away with such small a tear
That even in its second of watering, wavers not from
The glory unto itself of its goal in view.
The flushings and makeovers of others entertain
Yet cannot unfocus this visionball from achieving ...
Its iris may be superficial, yet eye-catching, and a
Great manipulation for subservience... and still within
A blink, bolstering self egotism is centered into field
Once again, making the superficiality a fun minds eye
Game to reach its great see of reward.
The pristine eye can witness the building of its own
Pedestal with a corneal grin ever so valiantly
Eyewitnessing the material success its outer temporary
Grandeur affords. It never could see itself, though.
The "me" cataracts prevented seeing the pure white gone...
Bloodshot by immaturity with the dust specks still embedded forever.
