I thought I had loved
I thought I knew
But I hadn't met love
'Till I met you

You lifted me up
Gave me wings to fly
I soared on your strength
As the days went by

Never had anyone
Loved me like you
I thought it would last
I thought it was true

Then in an instant
Everything changed
Someone found out
Someone forbade

And you listened to them
Left me hanging dry
All your promises of together
Forever, just died.

I'm sorry this happened to you. If it is meant that you will be with each other you will be in the long run. Otherwise if it doesn't happen, know that there is new and exciting loves out there waiting for you

Yea, those great wings that you have just received were just broken in half in an instant--I know this feeling & after that the greatest things in the world seem so insignificant!
