I remember the turbulent peace
In the old river
And those nice danger fishes
Forcing me to run
Against the flow
I was so happy there
Where ocean was the goal
And I was not afraid

Now I find myself
In this quiet horrible lake
Waiting
Sun decides to dry it all

I want my river back

Very nice imagery in this piece.  The message is heartwrenching, though.  *hugs*  I hope you find your way back.

This is a very sad piece, but you expressed your message very well. Great poem.
