You're so distant now
Can't even get you to talk to me any more
It hurts me inside to know that I can't even look you in the eye
I used to think we were perfect together
So where did things go so wrong?
How did things come to be like this?
If you knew how much I've cried would you even care?
There's an empty feeling in my heart
And it seems to be growing with each passing day
I wish there was a way for me to turn back time
If I could I would fix whatever mistakes I've made

Lost love is indeed a very hard thing to deal with. But time heals all wounds. Hang in there

Distance sux!! I've asked myself every one of these questions & said every line of your poem to myself--It does get better eventually & the pain slowly begins to fade--The 1st couple of dayz are the hardest, but if u can get through them u become a much stronger person! Hugz!

Ahhhh wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to turn back time. But we can't so we must deal with it and move ahead. Distance is not something we can over come easily. Just remember the memories and take them steps forward.
