The war on physical terrorism may be coming to an end,
But the war of emotional terrorism is far from over,
So many hurt, so many suffering,
So many confused and unable to find their way.

Too little is done,
Hardly any making contributions,
They wish to reap their harvests,
Yet only 'create' more confusion.

Too few are over extended,
Too few really give a hoot,
Too few genuinely care,
When things get too 'real' they reboot.

We must strive to make a difference,
To end somebody's suffering each and every day,
To extend true caring not social caring,
Without such sacrifices you merely play.

You can hear them now, those in pain,
Those suffering in many different ways,
Those alone and in fear,
Those unable to find their way.

Can you hear them?
Can you feel them?
They are calling now,
Their wills are at an end.

Can you help?
Can you make a difference?
Are you an unwilling participant?
Or a willing player in emotional terrorism?

Yes, teerorism comes in the two ways that you have mentioned here.  I have been a victim of emotional terrorism, and its not a good feeling, but I had good friends to help me.  All we can do is help other people in this type of tragedy.  Nicely done!

This one really got my attention as this is a phrase I used to describe what it felt like to be "stalked"--and I don't mean internet style either--I think the two subjects here are relatives. Sometimes the terror is in the waiting....Good write, Isis!

Yes, we may win the war, but the pain will still exist in everyone! This is great!   ELMO

Thanks Elmo!
Alan, that is what we should all strive to do once in a while!
