A Little Death

Ridding the wings of sin
as little demons begin again.
Dancing upon empty grave
looking for what I crave.
Darkness fills hardened soul
strapping those I love to the whipping pole.
Forked tongue lashing,
cursing, spewing, emotions crashing.
Mind filled with unsatisfied rage
sets the tormented stage.
Not knowing how to show tenderness
or love.
Dieing a little death each time it begins
again.

"There is an alter ego which dwells within every soul." (C)alibaster 1999-2001

"Sleep those little slices of death, how I loathe them." Edgar Allan

Such a dark delight to read.

That's my kind of poetry alibaster.
"A little death" I just had to read it.
And enjoyed it very much. Especially the ending.

Base not your joy upon the deeds of others, for what is given can be taken away. -Peter Steele
