Rose in a lone garden
Bloom by moonlight
Open, and be seen
While sorrow's tears weep
Hope...would not give
To that of a dying pulse
Breathing as thorns lace her vine
Blades of life
Each perfect in it's own
To slash the palms
And let a river stream
Across flesh and stem

You know, long ago some one here on the net that is a grand friend gave me the nickname "the Queen of Darkness" and by the gods I do think there is a Lord as well...
Once again you never cease to amaze me...*standing,grinning, and applauding*

*faint smile*
Thank you Ali, it is from the deepest part of me I write.  I write for myself, but when others enjoy it as well I find myself thsnkful for their words.

"Queen of Darkness"....that you might be from what I've read of your material.

Thank you again for compliment and the time it took to read.

Moonlight,
James

I've not read any of your poetry until now.
And for that I'm sorry, and hate myself for it.
Your poem reminded me of something, but I can't put my finger on it. Made me think, I like that. Anyway, it's great, and I like your philosophy, much the same as mine.

I've always liked the way you
turn a phrase,
nice to see you still turning,
just be careful not to grip too tight.

Thanks Gloom.  Not sure what you mean by gripping too tight though.
