A godsend on this autumn nigh With arms unfurled to reach the sky A roaring wall of driving rain Falling quick and soon to wane A drowning of the mortal soul The dry unnerved has taken toll Breaching waves have broken shore The swirl continues ever more A halting gesture from on high Good and evil have their tie A sigh of wintry woes and weeps Awoken from its endless deeps A shadow cast of cold embrace Chilling with its growing pace A swirl bedecked with virgin snow The world will soon be all aglow "The smallest feline is a masterpiece." |
