Lost in the dark,
but a fire burns.
A lone wolf barks,
yet he will not return.
Shadows and memories,
swirl in my mind.
But of these memories,
none can be kind.
They fight and sting,
all i feel is the pain.
The pain these bring,
leave my soul broken and stained.

I appreciate the dualism in your style. The concept is one of deep meaning for you, and likewise so in others' relative meaning when reading...Yet, it is very well written in easy-to-follow verse. Nice. By the way, "broken"... but still healable...
