In The Light of An Angel

In a second's alas, I finally saw the soul of me.
Through years of constant feelings for one, I
failed to see who I was deep inside. It's not
that I didn't look, but rather I couldn't focus.
I couldn't come to love my soul's idiosyncrasies
because of darkness... not of the evil kind, just
the absence of enough light to come to know.
Then the Arcangel appeared out of nowhere,
and through not trying to veer me from my path
or push me in an entirely new direction, just was...
There patiently showing how to come to know me,
his brilliance shown through the "pitt" of my soul with
such grandeur, that I then had all made known unto myself.
He promised to shine steadfast, and there just be.
By my side he shall, until I have had my own revelation.
And I have...
For in the light of an Angel, my soul begins to glow.
With the desire to radiate the warmth received back,
I shall propell this Angelic Arc of love as forever
As is the new mark my Arcangel has placed on my soul.

It is only when we weak mankind are literally show the truth or a sign that we can finally begin to realise life's bigger picture.
It is said we shouldn't need a sign we should just automatically believe, but like any logical person most of us need the proof.

Having found it you now know which direction your should take - and I'm so happy for you. Knowing you are not alone on a spiritual level will make so much difference in the rest of your life, if only you remember.....

since i personally know the "pitt" that you were talking about in this incredible poem, i had to write to you and say thank you for one of the most incredible praising a soul poem i've ever been blessed to read. you are awesome. congrats on this one being selected as a "best of the best poets of 2002" published work! (yes, i saw it). you should grace us with posts more often. i sent this one to john edward and got a response!

An angel's light must surely clearly illuminate all passages- taken and potential.
And no doubt the brilliancy inherent in the light of an archangel reveals life's vagaries with great clarity.
