The days go by
And time slips away
Nothing changes
Things all stay the same
I hurt you so long ago
But I can still fell the scars
It's as if they are new
I'd give anything to make you happy again
I want to see you smile
You did nothing to deserve this pain
The days go by
And time slips away
I wish something would change
Anything in anyway
Maybe one day your scars will heal
Maybe someday you'll be happy once more
Maybe some day I can show you how sorry I am
The days go by
And time slips away
But someday something has to change

Blessed Be Those Who
Reads My Writing

Yep, time does help heal the pain, the scars, and the hurtful words once said.  Just sometimes it isnt as fast as we might like it to be.
