There but for a moment,
the hurt enrages the heart to defense
temper flaming towards you out of anguish and love
words attack to hide the grief in total misunderstanding
I'm stuck with you for life; the facades now turn and lie.
but is the facade the lack of hatred for yourself who
deems facade a hate?
the flickering candle reminesces
the angelic valor of the truest truth denied
wings bruised in turning away in such confined space
not broken... still healable... still feathered with life, somewhere.
And after there but for a moment...
I remember it all well...I know
Why I hyperextended my own wings of love for you.
And I cry alone.
