Nocturnal Embrace
Copyright 2001
Written by James Edward Shields

In a distant sky
Sunset radiates
An apocalypic orange
Stricten with fever
As the day dies
And the night reborn
I wait longing
To touch that face
A silver shining visage
I feel as a wolf
This heart cool
And a waking hunger
To cherish
Like a lover’s kiss
Searing the flesh
Such wonders under
Astral grace
Lunar light
Is a caress compared
To no other
Hallow to nocturnal
I embrace it

Good cannot exist without evil.  Darkness I embrace.
