ROSE PETALS & THORNS!

Your love is like a rose,
it's open then it's closed.
Double-sided, intertwining,
slowly dieing & then reviving.
When I think it's dead,
it shows some life again.
Roots are sprouting,
no more pouting.

Satin petals caress my skin.
Must be gentle,
delicate petal,
falling apart in my hand.
I've lost it once again!
A thorn is stuck,
blood is drawn,
I have no luck,
no green thumb.
Sprinkle some droplets,
to show that I care,
it looks pretty lifeless,
but the seed is still there.
I'll come back tomorrow,
my little flower,
& bring you back,
with all my power!

I thought this was really good. It reminded me of an old Neil Young song. "Love is a rose but you better not pick it. It only grows when it's on the vine." You did a good job. Keep it up.

This had a way of putting the image of blood of a rose. One giving life to the other. As to if that is what was meant or not I still thought the poem was good.

this is a great poem i rather enjoy it very much and i think i'll print it out. also the way you switched the colors is cool

Thank you very much Jeremiah!!--Yea it was just weird how I typed it out one day & I noticed it kinda looked like a rose!--lol!
