yeah... well the real name is Good Morning
Burden makes its way across the threshold in the realm of absence
light penetrates and brings new day stretching across tile destroying an awkward comfort but extending shadows
that transmute to analogies of my conscious mind waking with the morning
I grasp the extent of my problems and circumstances
mind and sun's vitality climax together
but at opposite poles, mine uniformly negative
repetition greets me by way of routine and it all feels the same
like the last day
and i cant foresee an ability to change
barriers crack and ultimately break as waters of hope rush in with the light of this new but tragically familiar morning
and i know this water is for the thirsty
so it is senselessly bombarded by silent cliffs of depression who now roar with irony at this clash of texture
the only enjoyment here
is looking forward to fading out
live the same day on a different day
all the same way until nothing matters
life expectancy shows 60 years to go
day in and day out, its gone on so long
something has to change
if we hadn't killed god
i'd pray the doctors were wrong

"live the same day on a different day"

wow this is very very bitter ember! it had a very powerful train of thought- it took some time to fully comprehend the poem, and i comend you greatly for to good job. i think you did an awesome job of conveying your bitterness in this poem. sumtimes life does feel like it holds  no worth other then to move through each day as you did the last, while problems rise and mount and fall and rise and mount and fall again. once again, a very powerful piece. keep writing, poet...

And in reality they did kill Jesus but he rose again...but to my knowledge no one has really killed God...so you can still pray...James
