Some thing old,
some thing new,
some tattered and torn,
from me to you.
Take what once was hidden,
once forbidden,
once black pitch ridden.
Hold gentle upon your hands.
a soul in weeping need,
watch it bleed,
and let it be freed.

"There is an alter ego which dwells within every soul." (C)alibaster 1999-2001

"Sleep those little slices of death, how I loathe them." Edgar Allan

This is painfully sad..... I so enjoy reading your poetry, your soul running free...  Wonderful.

Liked the way you did this...liked the begging to be freed ending to it.  So much truth in that we are sometimes trapped by the very things from which we need to get away...

Hello, Mistress of Dark Poetry.   You do your talent well. I love this.
