Darkness Bound

Liquid emotion runs free
as darkness makes love to her
black soul tenderly.
No lines between pleasure and pain
when fear has nothing left to gain.
She holds no colors of life,
nothing fades from black to white.
Images of foolish dreams left behind
as she wanders from room to room
in her mind.
Embracing the only comfort found,
walking in darkness bound.

"There is an alter ego which dwells within every soul." (C)alibaster 1999-2001

"Sleep those little slices of death, how I loathe them." Edgar Allan

A dark write indeed. I have felt this many a time myself (I'm sure many of us have) You express the feelings very well.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Wonderful.  This poem is full of passion, and the symbolism enhances the images seen... A very good read.
