No one's aware And fewer can see The heart that I share Or the love that's in me It's all but a waste These feelings sublime The victories I've chased Mean nothing in time I've worked so damn hard Throughout all of my days Yet still my heart's barred From love's brilliant gaze What is the point I just fail to see Only pain will anoint The loneliness in me Alone as I stand The future's so bleak With no helping hand My heart becomes weak Isolation has trapped My soul in it's web My strength has been sapped Now I'm caught in the ebb G. I can relate to this. I'm almost 40 and I'm still searching for that one special woman, and losing hope in the process. Great work! And I lie here in bed all alone- I can't mend |

Oh hon I care that you are stuck in the mire, and others here in Passions do too! But as for finding that special someone you have to live your life in the meantime, do not become isolated waiting for her.. Get out, try new things, isn't there something some hobby or something you've always wanted to try eg. Photography or painting or something? Get out and try it for yourself and who knows you might meet someone in the process. Life isn't about having a partner or not, it's what you do with your life everyday...
