LET FREEDOM RING! (SEPT. 11th 2001) The headlines read today, America under attack. Pentagon & World Trade gone, New York covered in black. This really did scare me, & to the ground my heart dropped. I've always thought of the U.S. as invincible, & even with this, we won't be stopped It's times like this, I'm thankful to be alive, but then feel a little selfish, because of those who did not survive. 9-11 was the day, & thats who got the call. Our whole nation pulls together, we'll rise higher than we fall. We will hold on to it together, so many have fought to be free. You can go on & celebrate, but you can't take that away from me. Many lives are lost, but America's still strong. You thought you could bring us down, but you were very wrong. For each of us are connected, we all have heart & pride. This is OUR country, & we'll forever stand by her side!! GOD BLESS AMERICA & ALL LIVES LOST!!! LOVE ELMO  [This message has been edited by qtpieelmo (edited 09-15-2001).] |

Thanx DARKKISSES--Lucky for me, all my loved ones are safe, I'm in Buffalo, New York--my old roomate is in New York city though & I have yet to hear from her--I'm hoping she is ok & I have a feeling that she is. I feel so bad for all the families directly related!! LOVE ELMO |

Ahmen elmo! You are right, from coast to coast, north to south, east to west, we have banded together and we will fight this thing. We didn't start this war, but rewst assured we will finish it. We will stand tall and strong against a cowardis enimy who's only goal is the death of innocent men women and children. We will show the world that you can't get away with such a act. Thanx--James & Songbird--I went to a candle light vigil last night here in Buffalo & it really did help, it was very inspirational--We sang & prayed & during every pause in a speech the whole crowd chanted U.S.A--Nearly everyone had candles, & flags & American pride in their hearts--It made me feel even more proud to be an American! LOVE ELMO |
