I cried into the endless night soft moans of fear and pain It echoed back and mocked me with the laughter of cold rain I walked along the paths of peoples broken lifes My soul cried out in anguish for those lost in aimless strife I whispered curses at the wind Screamed wild pleas into the night For I was alone and lost to wander in hopeless flight I feel breathlessly to the ground And rested on my knees My dull eyes soft focused on all I could never be There flashed bright life's meaning on eyes to blind to see I wearily stood and walked away silently into the cold paladin [This message has been edited by paladin (edited 08-31-2001).] |
