I can't believe I let myself fall, let myself dream, let myself hope. I cant believe I let myself love, let myself need, let myself want. Now I sit here dying inside, an ache that wont end, pain for a lifetime. Is this all there is? Is this all I have to look forward to? Day after day? Pain without end? Dying a little more each day never to feel your touch, never to wake to your smile? Darkness without the saving rain. Light without the warmth of your kiss. I can't believe I let myself love. |

I truly understand what you're writing about here, Paula...and though I love being in love, I tend to ask as you have, what's the point really. A few moments of what turns out to be imagined happiness? Sorry, it's been a bad day. |

This is great--But everything happens for a reason--nothing is a total waste--you learn something from every experience (sometimes u learn the hard way, as I am now) But you can't let that stop u from loving--u have to take that chance sometimes & love completely, u never know what may come of it  LOVE ELMO |

wow can I ever relate to this right now. I too have put myself out in the line and have been disapointed and felt rejection. I'm sure these feelings will pass but I bet it might take a while. Take care. |

Of course we are disappointed when it doesn't turn out as we like...and there can be a very dark period of regrets...but I love the opportunities and the lessons learned...and I have to hope that someday it will all come together...James |
