I've heard you have another girl.
She can't replace what I was.
She can have my job if she wants,
but I'll never let it go.

I heard you found my replacement.
The next one in line who's heart you'll break.
Who you'll leave crying, alone,
when you're to busy to care.

Well what if the plan backfires,
and she doesn't love you that way,
and it doesn't hurt me like you seem to want,
then the joke's on you, isn't it?

Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself.  That's what I live by.
