second star to the right and straight on till morning
fairy tales without warnings
we do grow up
magic fades
pixi dust has been replaced
with the stinging of the sun on cheeks
little ones
naive and weak
innocence
never met solitude
as peter pan never flew

Magic exists.  We just have to view the world through a child's eyes once in a while.  And that is a hard thing to do.  Try it - it's worth it...
Thought provoking and melancholy piece - well done!

Growing up does not mean losing all aspects of yourself to maturity, you can, if you want, keep the innocence.   It is hard and many who try do fail, but you may be one of the few who succede.

Love will come and love will go, but friends are forever (usually).
