Grind yourself down
running over so much broken glass
what mirror of whose life
shattered against the pavement
yesterday

The breaks are already gone
they flew away when the leaves fell
or was it a knife falling
slicing away what was left of hope
today

Your engine is winding down
the gas tank's been poisoned with
the sugar you meant to dump in your cup
of coffee and thought you'ld drink
tomarrow

Inside the light you lose its edges until pushed

I don;t know waht to say except that I like this one.

Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself.  That's what I live by.
