Crumbled with a soul fractured wide,
No place to run to or hide,
All that’s owned is sitting there
Cloth, skin, muscle, blood and hair.

Homeless in light and darkness,
Hopeless to the world’s great mess,
Unloved, undone, and unshared,
Forgotten to those who cared.

Begin wondering the streets,
Invisible never meets,
Slate and mind is now wiped clean,
Forgot is everything seen.

A life now simply stated,
Notice: all things vacated.

Gloom

Hi PG! I've been a fan of yours for sometime now, as you so aptly define the darker voyages of the mind. As always, I enjoyed.

I like this Gloom. Good read. I think this part got the closest to me.
Homeless in light and darkness,
Hopeless to the world’s great mess,
Unloved, undone, and unshared,
Forgotten to those who cared.

Glad you enjoyed,
I guess it’s easier for me to describe where
I walk this path through life.

Thank you, Alan,
Pleased you could find a part to be close to.

Gloom
