He came to me one Hallowed Night,
Speaking of his pain and betrayl,
He spoke of dreams and schemes and things,
And his hurt hiding beneath the veil.

As the full moon sailed through the tides overhead,
I caressed his head as it lay on my chest,
His pain we shared we two,
Again, all my faith was put to the test.

When the Moon rides at her peak,
When the wind comes from the South,
Then your heart's desire seek,
Love will kiss thee on the mouth.

And kiss we did,
An all empowering touch,
Loving away the pain,
That hurt him so much.

A moment's love,
A moment's healing,
Forgotten dreams,
The key already revealing.

An impromptu collision in the dark,
Made all the more powerful,
By the mysteries of the heart,
A moment's ease against our will.

And once more tethered to the shore,
Lighter soulled now are we,
A new dawning of understanding and more,
A stolen night that was meant to be.

How enchanting! This had me in hook, line and sinker.
"A new dawning of understanding and more,
A stolen night that was meant to be."
Just beautiful, Isis.
Thanks for the read.

This was a nice one Isis. I really liked the imagery...gives it that old fairy tale sort of sound to it.

Here's one that is doubtless
I will love you always Jess
Never think I could love you less
