My tears have disappeared No more crying can I do Yet the pain still lives on Unable to create anew The stars still sparkle Just not as beautiful as before My heart still beats But in pieces since its torn My eyes still open With each new rising day Yet the colors are all gone Only seeing black and gray The daylight seems to last The nights seem way too long Sitting here all alone Wondering what went wrong My skin is very pale My hands seem to shake Everything that I love Disappears upon my wake |

I read your other poems, but this is by far my favorite. It comes at a time when I feel just like that. I am, in so many ways, Slowly moving on..... Love will come and love will go, but friends are forever (usually). |
