This poem is very similar to the other Abortion poem I posted.  But it is VERY long, and Very heartbreaking!

She was 15,
still practically a child,
He told her he loved her,
He told her he needed her now,
So they ran away together,
And together they gave their vows,
He told her he needed her badly,
He said it was a good thing they didn't wait,
She THOUGHT that he was in love with her,
But he wasn't, and now it's too late.

One month later,
She found she was going to have a baby,
She could no longer be a child,
To take care of a child she would have to become a lady,
He said he didn't want the child,
He didn't care how much she did,
He said if she had that baby,
He would dump it the trash and put on the lid.

She cried herself to sleep at night,
Wondering what decision to make
She never thought of ways to keep the child,
She just knew if she gave it up, her heart would break.

Praying that she could have a chance,
To keep her precious child,
But the chances of that with her husband around,
Would be real slim and mild.

He told her to get an abortion,
He demanded she got one NOW,
but she was still a child,
And she wasn't sure how,
How could she kill an innocent life,
That hasn't even had a chance to live,
She wanted that baby so bad,
A life to that baby, she wanted to give.

She went to the place,
They put her on the pills,
And after awhile, of the baby there was no trace.

She saw what that abortion did,
It took away a precious life,
It left her heart in sorrow,
And she is left in the darkness, never to see the light.

She knew that it was a bad idea,
she knew that it was wrong,
But she chose to please a cold heart,
Although she wanted that baby all along.

She realized she went down the wrong road,
That made a scar in her heart,
She needed to get away from that man,
That tore her life apart.

She made a terrible decision,  that scarred her for life,
She would never be a mother again, and never again would she be a wife.

She knew that this was a choice she could have not made,
but she chose to try to please him,
she knew if she tried not to give the baby up,
she knew she would never win.

She was sad, she was angry,
For the decision that she made,
She never should have married him,
But her baby's dead and it's too late.

Abortion is the worst thing I could ever think of in this world.  Innocent lives taken without ever seeing the sun shine bright, without ever running, or playing.  Someone needs to make a difference in this world.  I know it will take more than one person to change our society.
