Change be inevitable as time continues on...

Drugs...of any kind kill nothing more than the person that you are and will be...
altered states of mind make nothing more than brains of wanting mush...
Euphoria obtained thru false fame is nothing more than fake bliss that ends leaving you
with nothing more than you started...
veins left hollowed from pushing liquid forms of happiness leave nothing more
than confussion, depression, and everlasting addiction...
addiction once the drug is gone leaves nothing more than
wanting misery...
So take this silver tongued addicts words to heart...
come empty handed
and leave just the same.

"There is an alter ego which
dwells in every soul..."
a-alibaster

"I am as I am, nothing more, nothing less,
I am tears of pain, tears of Death.

Ali
This poem sent a chill through my spine as I can only imagine how much drugs must destroy your soul and being.  I hope life is good for you now.  Take care......Sue
p.s. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my poem, it was much appreciated.

Oh, wow. What a message. A deep and dark piece, my friend. Nicely done.

Sincerely,
Titus

Very unkind to those that find themselves in the throws of an addiction, however, it is a very good point as well as a wonderfully vivid and well written work.

A most appropriate warning and a very fine write.  I know from where you speak.

Everyone needs their addiction....
