This is dedicated to all of the movie stars, pop icons and televangelists et al.
Fame

We used to carve idols out of stone
Then we learned to work gold
Now we carve them out of flesh
Graven images that fit the mold

Religions come and we believe
For a moment or two we belong
Comforted by our common ground
Together we feel strong

But idols always break
Or get melted down
So we cling to another
We find a new brother
Another king we crown

The idols of the flesh decay
Or fade beyond the light
But always there’s another god
To lead us through the night

Our idols of the flesh had best beware
You must teach the words we want to hear
Or else we’ll break you, cut you down
You’d better ****ing live in fear

Sing while you may
-The Prophet Qa'sepel

Your pain is for you alone, As it is, As it was, As it will be forever, Amen
-The Prophet Qa'sepel

Hmmm... I never thought of fame like that before, but it gives me a broader perspective on it.

Great Work.

I love the lines some men use to get us into bed. "Please, I'll only put it in for a minute." What am I, a microwave?
