A poem inspired by my own curiosity of reincarnation after a horrid experience.

Dragonfly

Fly me high, oh so beautifully,
To the world above the sky, oh so gracefully.
Take me to that hidden star,
God's own white dove,
To His universally present guard.

Upon the hills, guiding me into a beautiful garden,
Where you lie, Broken. Shattered. Mutilated.
There you lie, drowned to our surrounding society
Into religions mysterious reality....
now.

For now the time has come, dear suffered one, into death's locked arms where nothing escapes but my mourn.
Dear one, close your eyes forever and keep them at rest at your own hidden star, His mystic key to your afterlife to be are hidden in the wing's trail of the dragonfly. My dragonfly.

"In this very breath that we take now lies the secret that all great teachers try to tell us."

Wow.  A beautifully expressed poem.

Reincarnation is a nice thought to ponder.

I hope you're all right after your experience.

Great work.

I love the lines some men use to get us into bed. "Please, I'll only put it in for a minute." What am I, a microwave?
