I look into the eyes of sadness,
Seeing a shattered heart,
I soul torn apart,
Searching for a friend,
just looking for love,
Scared of what will come next,
Waiting for tomorrow and what the day will bring forth, Praying day and night,
For someone to call a friend,
In this time of need,
Alone in this world,
Caught in this madness,
Trying to build up the will to carry on,
Knowing he did wrong,
Willing to try to go move on,
Trying to pass this madness,
The pain and burden he carries,
with one friend by his side,
now playing life by ear,
a broken heart,
trying to wish away the mistakes made,
Hoping tomorrow might be a better day...
