This is actually a song that I wrote and had copyrighted...I hope you all enjoy. Maybe You found out I'm not perfect, You found out I was human, You put me on a pedestal, And I let you down, But I'm not the only one with imperfections, you let me down too, And even though there's still love to share it's just not enough to keep us there, Maybe we'll see each other on down the line, And Maybe then we'll be more mature, Instead of being so immature, And understand that sacrifice is what it takes to get it right, Maybe then we'll realize that love doesn't mix with lies, And Maybe understand that love sometimes just isn't enough, Because right now it's just not our time, You know I love you, This I can't deny, But there comes a time when every good thing must come to an end, And though there may not be a good reason, It just wasn't our time or season, We've got to let "us" go, And even though there's still love to share it's simply not enough to keep us there, Maybe we'll see each other on down the line, And Maybe then we'll be more mature, Instead of being so immature, And understand that sacrifice is what it takes to get it right, Maybe then we'll realize that love doesn't mix with lies, And Maybe understand that love sometimes just isnt't enough, Because right now it's just not our time, - Captivating1 |
