I am lying here,
My heart shattered into pieces,
I no longer have tears to cry,
My emotions have run dry.

I am so torn,
my heart is so worn,
I have nothing left to own.
I am by myself, broken,
Shattered, and torn.

I have no one to love me,
I have not a thing to call my own.
For I have been broken, shattered,
And torn.

For a moment of pleasure,
One choice I decided to make,
Now has turned my life into
a living hell.

He said he loved me,
He told me he would be there,
But he has ruined my life,
Broken my heart,
Ripped up my dreams,
And torn them to pieces.

I thought it would work,
It tried to make it better.
It didn't work out.
My heart is worn,
Now the consequences have left me,
Broken, shattered, and torn...

Now I must go through life, wondering
what I did that was wrong?
Why did this happen to me?
It has ruined my dreams, my hopes, and my future and has left me,
Broken, shattered, and torn...

Welcome to Passions, this is a good poem full of hurt and anger. If it is based on real life let me give you some advice... you are fourteen, there is time to find love.

This was a great first post and i have to agree that heartbreaks are one of the toughest things. But you expressed your feelings very well in those poem...::hugs:: hope you feel betta soon

Actually, I realize I am fourteen, and love will soon come. But this poem is actually written for my mother! Lol. Sorry if I gave everyone the impression that this poem was related to something that has to do with me! I just checked my feedbacks today, and everyone was saying aww sorry about this and that, but like I said, It was written for my mother! thanks everyone! I'm glad to be here!
