How can it be
that one simple word
can mean so much
can change my life
for ever

can stir such emotions
can make me feel
so happy

I still can't believe
you said that one word
the smile on your face
I knew it meant
so much

when I knelt on one knee
and asked the question
will you

One three letter word
the only word
I wanted to hear
that word
was yes.
