Surface laughter that follows me home
let still my aching heart.
Changes that kill the angel in the hall
let fall upon my sight.
Lost upon the waters
of every single man
that slows his vision
wanting to be damned.
Lost in the stars sight
the next fall of youth
the time to be angry
is nothing quite new.

Surface laughter that follows my sleep
let still my beating heart.
Changes that force the devil in the hall
to take my soul apart.
Loosen the bindings
the ones you made for me
that fill me full of praise
so I'll loose my dignity.
Tighten your grip
around the fallen pen
your not within your fear
if you've given in to it.

Surface laughter that follows me in lust
let still my bleeding heart.
Changes that move that girl in the hall
fall over my lost demand.
The version of silence
you practiced on my lips
falecies that held true
flesh on fingers grip.
The screaming of the Angel
that witnessed my rebirth
born in a world of tests
the latest you are versed.
Forgetting my crucifiction
that lays into my mind
as the words that were spoken
are lost in worlds of time.
You never can enjoy
the yesteryears of rage
for younger souls have wisdom
and you are past that age.

Surface laughter that follows me home
to take my silent heart.
Changes now forgotten in the hall
the screams do those impart.
