I emerged from
The dark lonely place

I felt the warm rays
Of a heavenly father's love

I am your true father
I heard him say
I will always love you
Come what may

How could you love me?
I'm just spit
In my father's eyes

Child, I'm the perfect father
I love my children
No matter what they do.

How can I trust you
To mean what you say
Just hold onto my hand
I will show you the way
