In a luminous circle of cherry black,
eyes of azure simmer.
The shine, a possession of moon’s dark side,
reveals the suede keeper’s desires.
I am the hunger born in a Woman’s womb,
an Ancient goddess swimming
in a stream of pensive thoughts.
Dwelling, once, as a Java black decay, mortal,
I abused the powers of magic to appease the fancy for lust.
The god’s of Blazing Sun, restrained the defiance
with lariat braids of silver and gold.
In the gleam of muted shadows, for a thousand
years, they’ve imprisoned my soul.

Traveling through time, night creatures with jeweled bodies
and beaded wings, speak to me of mystical seasons.
Come they taunt, veer into this forest of reflection, see
the bodies of a singular grace entwine.
Weeping, luxuriously, caressing
the heart-ache of an exuberant fool,
I yearn to touch, to taste, to be the
vision, the breathtaking motion of the blend.
