I’m acting When I seem to be so strong I’m fighting Even when I seem to be so quiet Just because of you I’m lying When I say it doesn’t matter And the only I want is to put an end How could it be true If I can’t close my eyes Without you around ‘Cause you always come To fill the best part of my dreams I’ve been waiting For your arms to hold me I’ve been hiding From pain right when I should go on Just because of you I’m lying Saying I can forget you And everything will go on the same way How can you believe After so many days Waiting just to see you run by And all those long nights Wishing to see you waking up I was afraid That’s why I hid myself from you And now I have to seem strong I was in love That’s why I’ve been waiting so long And now I should keep fighting But I’m tired That’s why I’m lying |

this poem really related to a recent event in my life. being the first time ive ever been in love and heartbroken it is also the first time ive had a chance to enjoy poetry. good poem, i hope soon i will get better at expressing my emotions into poems like u all  ''The words you say never seem to live up to the ones inside your head.''
