My little angel walking in the rain
How have you pulled me this direction
For a moment I thought maybe I knew
As benign as it may seem
I just want to scream
My heart bleeds with every step I take
Every sign I see leads back to one place
A light in the darkness
A clue in a mystery
Yet with all that is given
I realize it can never be
You and me

There's a peace inside us all
Let it be your friend
It will help you carry on
In the end
