hum, so who missed me?  i'm sure not many of you noticed i was gone.  oh well, no biggie,  but anyways, so here is the first thing i have written in  months.

Summer Stars

Summer nights sitting on my front steps alone,
Waiting for someone to change it all,
Wishing someone was there to hold me together,
Watching stars fall and innocently wishing,
Who know what those nights would turn into,
Waiting for someone to save me from myself,
Slowly turned into waiting for him,
Waiting and watching clouds rool by the moon,
Seeing stars shinning miles away,
Hoping to her those scratchy footsteps,
Then there would be him--who i was wishing for,
Finally finding what I always dreamed of having,
Someone to share everything with,
Before i could stop it they were gone,
No warning, no idea, no hope, and no more time,
How I wanted to fix it all in one night,
With one more falling star and innocent wish,
I still sit on those steps every night,
Waiting for one more falling star,
Hoping for the sonds of scratchy footsteps,
But now the stars have stopped falling for me,
And the night if filled with empty dark silence,
But I will always wait for one more falling star,
And the sound of hope to walk down the street,

"To wish upon a star."
May your wish come true.
Thanks.

I also wish teh same, but for a female. Great work. I enjoyed it very much.
