I sit here thinking
Do these people really like me?
We share a dose of laughter
And a dose of remorse,
I do not feel quite happy
Like when I am alone,
I make do with what I get,
Not asking for much more,
A simple hello,
A simple smile,
That does it all,
But in the end I am the one
That is left feeling confused.
For when I go in their world,
To them I feel unknown.

Xeonox,
you've painted a truth here. I think we are all looking for a place to belong.
