It has been said
That it's better to have loved and lost
Than to never have loved at all
I find this statement to be an erroneous one
For a man who has never loved
Knows not what he is missing
And a man who has loved
Is left to long for that which he has lost
Therefore I say unto you
That it is a far better thing
To have never loved at all
Than it is to have loved and lost.

True, if you look at the world that way.
But you and I both know YOU DO NOT look at things that way!!
I believe love is as necessary as food, shelter and air BUT it doesn't have to be the love of a lover, it could be love of family, a special, dear friend, even a faithful pet.
As long as we have SOME love in our loves we do not sink into the void...

This is very logical.  I see what you're talking about.. Hmm, this one made me sit back and think.  I like the thoughts that are going on behind this piece.
Very nicely done.. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you all for your replys. I actually wrote this about 2-1/2 years ago. This is just a piece of hard, cold logic and one can't argue with logic...hehe! Thank you all again!

I agree easy enough said, but not so easily done, we all want and crave for love that's human nature.
