Yes, I know I haven't posted in months, but I've had no inspiration. Today, I bring you three poems, one of them Dark, the other two just to show my development as a poet. (And because I'm studying poetry at school, which is where these were written)

And now!

The Return to Poetry

Alone once more
The dark returns
I cower in my corner

I am shunned,
Though why
I know not

My face, proud
Stern and cold
Pretending I hurt not

Yet inside
I lay barren
Wounded gravely

They taunt me still
And I will not cry
They won’t win

Home again
Poems again
Back into the darkness

The New World

Floating free above my mind
Towards a bright new light
Could this be Heav’n?
I am not dead.
This new world
Like nothing seen afore

I float around
Through bright, green forest
Over tall mountains.
I weep with joy
For true beauty
Surrounds me utterly
I wander for ages
Not a soul do I see
Till I cross the sea
Reaching a new land
Where, on the bay lies
A white, gleaming city
Filled with people
Of such glorious beauty
Angels if I ever saw them
And the streets of that city
Ah so clean.

Yet then a voice booms
Seeming from the heav’ns
“Are you paying attention?”
Then the world dissolves
Returning me to the dirty, dreary
Classroom of reality

The Phone Call

She said yes
My heart beats fast
The nervousness
Has gone now past

I breathe, I beam
I jump with joy
My mind racing
With so many thoughts

She hangs up
Yet is still there
Leaves an image
Of her face, so fair.

Come to me
Kill for me
Worship me.
Follow everthing I do
Act it out before me

I enjoyed the poetry called the New World. The words you have used and in such quick burst is quite amazing. Maybe this poetry should have been posted somewhere else (not in dark passions).

You are probably right that it should have been posted eslewhere, but most of those (in fact, all) that know me here, are on this board, and it was meant for them.

I might post it elsewhere, we'll see.
