The goddess of the moon
Frowns upon this withering soul
Watching every tear i drop
Confessing my untold sorrows
To sit benealth your craddling glow
Sends my spirits in a dance
You are the only one that will listen, without judging me for what i have done
Precious Goddess of the Moon
the keeper of my thoughts
Look down upon my sadness
Every night when i Turn to you
Cradle me, as i cry to you

You made me think of some recent experiences.
the importance of having someone that we respect that will just listen to us and not judge us and my prayer on desperate nights...rare times...when I pray that God will take me in his arms and love me...because sometimes it seems that he is the only one...James

This is so poignant, Temptress...a nice read.

One thing I should mention though

'craddle' is spelled 'cradle'

You see the godess of moon as a source of external "psychology". The word usage is quite nice. I enjoyed the way it flows.

You make me so sad with this poem.. that is my forever wish.. that someone could want to listen.. and be that moon.. but sometimes it really is the only comfort.. the moon won't ever make you feel bad, and it's kind of soothing, just knowing something is always there.. 'coz ppl sure as hell aren't always..
I liked this, Temptress*Moon.. so deeply written.. I really liked this.

Very emotion filled.  Beautiful work.. Nicely done.  Thanks for the read.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
