When it seems like everything has hit me,
And all I want to do is run and hide,
Do I? or do I relie on love to be on my side,
When all seems turned upside down,
Makes me sad can't help but frown,
Do I take a journey to depression,
Do I even dare to mention,
Sorrow, gloom and dispair,
When I've cried a million tears,
Do I simply hide my fears,
Because no one seems to listen,
Do I come to a stand-still,
Until my hearts finally heals,
Of this deadly malnutrition,
Can I hide the many cuts,
Of open aquisition,
Did I ever dare to mention,
That I would love to loose this tention,
Been holding me a hostage to this so real
apparition,
Circumstances beyond control,
Still often takes ahold,
So give me just a little smile,
And maybe then I'll walk a mile,
Then take it again,
One step at a time.

I loved this poem. Yes it was sad but I can relate. It caught my attention as soon as I read the first line. I don't know why anyone else hasn't responded this, I love the words you used to express your inner sadness. The answers to your questions are hard ones to answer. Sometimes it's easier to let the pain win but you have to try to fight or it will take over your life. I learned that and I'm better now. At times I feel depression creep in and I just try to ignore it. But then again there's nothing wrong with a good cry now and then, helps heal you as much as a smile sometimes I think. Take care and Good luck finding the sunshine again! It's there just hard to see sometimes.

Lisa thank you so much, your kind words mean so much to me, I do suffer from depression, which sometimes really grabs ahold, but I do not let it own me.
